Silicone hoses are slippery and easily damaged by sharp edged clamps. The correct ones for silicone have rolled edges and provide constant clamping pressure right across the temperature range to prevent low temp weeping due to creep. The stock ones won't seal 100%, of the time with silicone hoses.
